All of our teachers go through a careful selection, training and accreditation process to ensure they are a good match for this work. Teachers come from a wide variety of backgrounds including extensive experience in areas such as education, women’s refuge, sexual violence support services, social work, martial arts, gender studies, farming and more. All teachers are police vetted and hold current first aid certificates. They participate in ongoing professional development at our biannual Hui (meetings) and performance monitoring to ensure that their teaching is of the highest standard.
